中美选秀节目的性别意识研究对比——以《创造101》和《全美超模大赛》为例

摘 要

选秀泛指选拔在某方面表现优秀的人。中国自古就有古代选秀,一般是宫廷选秀。全球举行的有各种标准的评选活动,也被称为选秀。现如今,选秀反而成了时尚,由于是自主自愿的,糟粕的痕迹早已不复存在,相反,一场选秀运动大有全民总动员的意味。国内、国外有很多的选秀节目。包括了外貌身材,歌唱声音,一长之技,在某一特定的时间,空间(如学校,企业,省市,州,县等)。选秀节目的选拔特性对于性别形象的刻画、性别意识的引导塑造对现代观众们的影响深远难以计量。本文对于选秀节目传播下引起的在其他网络新媒体,网络社群的性别对立现象进行引申,进一步引出不仅是女性主义,还有男性在其中受到的性别固化歧视等,为思考未来在媒介传播中促进性别平等的进一步对策提供建议。此外以前的研究多集中于国内的选秀节目方面,对于国外的选秀节目了解甚少,本文的目标是搜集国外的选秀节目在处理和表达社会性别意识方面是怎样表现,并与国内的节目进行对比研究,呼吁媒体加强对于性别意识的正确宣传,增进选秀节目对于社会性别意识的积极影响。

A comparative study of gender awareness in talent shows between China and the United States

Abstract

Draft generally refers to the selection of outstanding people in a certain aspect. China has had it since ancient times. In ancient times, talent shows were generally palace talent shows. There are a variety of standard selection activities held around the world, also known as draft. Nowadays, the draft has become a fashion. Because it is voluntary, the dross has disappeared. On the contrary, a draft campaign has the meaning of national mobilization. There are many talent shows at home and abroad. Including the appearance, body, singing voice, a long skill, in a specific time, space (such as school, enterprise, province, state, county, etc.). The selection characteristics of talent shows have a far-reaching influence on the portrayal of gender image and the guidance of gender consciousness, which is difficult to measure. This paper extends the phenomenon of Gender Antagonism in other online new media and online communities caused by the spread of talent shows, and further leads to not only feminism, but also the gender fixed discrimination that men are subject to, so as to provide suggestions for further countermeasures to promote gender equality in media communication in the future. In addition, previous studies mostly focused on domestic talent shows, but little was known about foreign talent shows. The goal of this paper is to collect how foreign talent shows deal with and express gender awareness, and make a comparative study with domestic programs, calling on the media to strengthen the correct publicity of gender awareness, Enhance the positive impact of talent shows on gender awareness.
