Explicit and Implicit Grammar Instruction in EFL Classroom in Junior High School
Abstract
Nowsadys, grammar teaching whether grammar should be taught explicitly or implicitly has been a controversial issue in the field of EFL research. This paper aims to discuss the research status in terms of explicit and implicit grammar instructions. Debates and arguments for each instructions are introduced. Research studies related to explicit and implicit grammar instruction in EFL classroom are illustrated clearly and respectively in this paper.

1.Introduction
As Philip Kerr mentioned( Kerr, 2002. Qtd. In Willis J. amp; Willis D.), grammar is at the center of language learning. Thus, grammar teaching is imperative to language learners for it could not only enhance their language proficiency, but also contribute to a higher level of language accuracy, which has been a controversial issue in the field of EFL research.
